My little bit o' wall.

Just a quick snapshot of my studio at the moment.
This is mainly because its the only photo i've taken since the weekend.. I seem to be sitting in it thinking alot these past few days, rather than producing any new work. Trying to get my head around how I should curate my work in the degree show and assessment.. The boring bit. I dont really like all the messing around at this stage.. i just make myself confused, especially as our tutors seem to be against mounting, borders or framing of any kind. How to make something look good on a wall when its just plonked up there... this is my current problemo.

I just spent a long weekend up in Formby to stay with Christian's (link on the right) family. Had a brilliant time, the people and places were beautiful.. and I even got a ride on the Harley!! :D

More interested in the cobwebs

Recently a few fellow 3rd year art students and myself went to view a space which is being made into artist studios. Im wasnt actually intending to rent one of these spaces because I wont actually need the space once i've left uni and it would just be uneccessary spending.
However, once I got there I was very tempted indeed. The space its being built on is actually quite derelict at the moment.. and i soon distracted myself from the temptations of wasting my money on a nice artist studio by studying this instead. There was a very large shed/garage filled to the brim with old objects, with an old courtyard beside it. The light in there was spectacular.. and the cobwebs were fascinating... just wish i'd had my tripod with me (as you do) to capture it properly. ah well.
