Autumn Days

Back in October Chris, Matt and I went to stay with Ben for a few days of Improper Books fun. Love those guys! It was very productive and i'm so excited about everything we're working towards.
Anyway, just dropped in to show you these. Ben's wonderful garden.

Something Old, Something New

Why hello there!

Just found these. Hidden in the depths of the jungle which is my external harddrive.

It's a very fun job to take something which is brand spanking new and make it look old.

Once more to the house of war

With all the exciting updates on Warhouse recently, got me looking back over all my photos from on set and thought i'd share a few as I'm sure it will bring back as many memories to the cast and other crew as it did for me.

Don't want to give too much away, so will put up more later when you've all seen the film. Wouldn't want to spoil the magic now would I!

Beautiful Gayle. Playing with something gloopy, as she was on a daily basis.

The wonderful Matt Ryan, lending me his face for drawing.

Me with ink on my knee, naturally.

oh no wait, that's Luke.

Right that's enough for one day. More soon!

Continuing my strange little mini theme on silhouettes (they just seem to be seeking me out at the mo) here's a great little vid on a private exhibition by Olly Moss.

Oh how I wish I'd thought of this first.

Hello you,

Now, it does niggle at me somewhat, how Christmas starts earlier and earlier each year. It's like one person puts a gift set out and the whole retailing world shrieks like a little girl and throws up some tinsel at the risk of being left behind.

HOWEVER.. if it means that I get to spend an entire weekend being arty and making silhouettes at work thats fine by me!

It's rather coinsidental actually. Just as I do a post about my love for silhouettes I get asked to make a load of BIG ONES! They're for the children's section in the bookshop where I work at the weekends. The only issue was Linda, one of our lovely children's section ladies who unfortunately has a fear of silhouettes. But she's coping ok so far. I think I may actually be helping to cure it.. umm.. I think?

Well that was fun :)

Warhouse

Here's the long, loonnng awaited teaser for WARHOUSE. And it was so worth the wait.

Very glad to have been involved in this film. Can't wait til you all get to see it!

In the opening trailer scene you can spot one of my journals! CLICK HERE to see all my posts about the making of Warhouse.

Warhouse has affected my life in so many positive ways. Not just the fantastic experience of living and working on set with a great bunch of people, but it was the very start of my freelancing career. Most of the projects i've worked on since have been a direct result of my time on Warhouse and for that I am so grateful and will remember it fondly forever.
