Harry Potter competition

In July I entered a Bloomsbury competition which we were promoting at the bookshop.

It's 15 years since the first Harry Potter book was published. To celebrate, one winner received a trip to the Harry theme park in Orlando plus a signed, dedicated and numbered leather bound edition of Philosopher's Stone. 14 runners up also got the book.

I reeeaaaally wanted that book :)

Alas, I did not win.
(Was tempted to include some form of Xfactor-worthy sob story: Harry Potter books are the only surviving possessions from the house fire that destroyed my entire family and help me to see hope on cold nights at the orphanage etc etc... )

Here's my veeery cheesey entry. Was very fun to do. (Scanned on a black background so the outline showed up well).

  1. I don't believe the winners age. Or any of the runner ups either. And I think possibly the person doing the marking was high.

  2. Pahaha thanks Bob.
You're probably right, very high. If they had been in their right mind then quite obviously I would have won ;) x
