Obsessed with Anne

Not knowing the story of Anne of Green Gables, I recently watched the whole new Netflix series in two sittings. I loved it and immediately abandoned my current book to read the first of Lucy Maud Montgomery's Anne books instead. I'm about a third of the way through and I'm totally enraptured. Anne is almost unbearably enchanted by absolutely everything. She is overdramatic and intentionally a tiny bit irritating, but completely endearing and I'm a little bit in love with her.

I could go on and on, but I won't.
Here is a beautiful shot from the series:

If you love a good tree, you won't be let down. The shots of breathtakingly beautiful nature, scenery and light in this show really reflect how I feel when I go outside and I feel like Anne is a 'kindred spirit' (as she would say) in her sense of inspiration and wonder at the natural world.
